Rewa (without eggs)

Ingredients

 4 cups milk
 4 ozs. condensed milk
 4 tbsp. semolina
 6 ozs. sugar
 ¼ tsp. salt
 3 tbsp. salted butter
 ½ tsp. freshly ground cardamom
 ¼ tsp. nutmeg
 1 tsp. vanilla essence
 Slivered almonds & raisins

Method

 In a pan, heat the milk and condensed milk. Keep aside.
 In a bowl, mix the semolina, sugar, and salt.
 Add the milk to the semolina mixture, stirring constantly with a whisk, until the mixture thickens.
 Add the butter, cardamom, nutmeg, and vanilla essence, while cooking for another 10 minutes on a very low heat.
 To serve, roast some slivered almonds and raisins, and sprinkle on top.

Serves 6-8 people.
